Nikon M223 3-12X42SF

The Nikon M-223 3-12X42SF scope is the largest in the M223 range. These scopes offer great light transmission in a rugged, one-piece 1″ hard-anodized aluminum tube and are shock-proof, water-proof and fog-proof. The M223 scopes feature very smooth zoom and dialling and have a constant four inches of eye-relief all the way through their zoom range. The Nikon 3-12X42SF scopes achieve approximately 95% light-transmission, passing the light back to a massive occular lens. Two models of M223 scope are available in this objective size. One uses a unique BDC reticle with circle and hash aiming marks compensating for 55 grain polymer-tipped .223 bullets in 100 yard increments out to 600 yards. The other uses the Nikoplex reticle and a Rapid Action Turret to dial-in. Both M-223 rifle scope models feature a Return to Zero (RTZ) facility. These scopes weight approximately 18.7 oz. and are 13.1″ long. For a limited time these scopes are available from Brownells with a free Nikon M-223 one piece mount.
