The Millett DMS1 1-4×24 Riflescope is an inexpensive alternative to higher priced three gun scopes. It provides an alternative to a red dot and a scope, combining the best features of both. The reticle has an 18 MoA red donut with a 1 MoA dot in the center to enable rapid placement on large targets up close, but cranked up to 4X allows precision shooting out to 500 yards and more.
This scope is not expensive and there is an element of “you get what you pay for” to be accepted in this purchase. Some users have complained of inadequate eye-relief/critical head placement with the DMS-1 whilst others have had the reticle rotate 20 to 30 degrees after use with heavy recoiling calibers/weapons. Most seem broadly or well satisfied, taking the price point into consideration.
