The Leupold Prismatic Rifle Scope is a very compact 1X scope. It gives you the both-eyes open, rapid aiming of a red dot sight with the clarity and reliability of a conventional scope. This scope is best suited to applications where situational awareness and rapid target engagement are critical such as tactical operations and hunting in close country.

The Leupold Prismatic sight is unusual in having a detachable illumination module that clamps on, giving eight brightness settings. It can be removed when not required to minimize weight. The easily centered circle and cross reticle is etched on the glass of the high grade optics so cannot break and it is visible without illumination should the illumination unit fail. Light transmission is enhanced by DiamondCoat 2™ lens coating which also protects the lenses from scratching.

The Leupold Prismatic Rifle Scope is immensely rugged with a thick walled aluminum tube and is sealed, fogproof and waterproof. Adjustment is in ½ MOA clicks, with a 70 MOA adjustment range. Focus is adjusted via the eyepiece. The sight comes with an integrated base and three height spacers to fit firearms with M1913 Picatinny or Weaver-style rails. This scope has a 30mm tube and is thus compatible with any 30mm rings or the A.R.M.S. #22 quick-detach throw-lever rings. An alternative route to quick detach operation and one which offers adjustment is the GG&G Accucam for the Leupold Prismatic Scope.

The Prismatic Rifle scope is amodized matte black. It is 4 3⁄8″ (11.1cm) long, 2” (5.1cm) wide at its widest point with the Illumination Module installed and weighs 8.4 oz. (237g) weight without base. Eye relief is 3” (7.6cm). The illumination unit runs on a DL1/3N button-type battery (included).
