Leupold’s VX•R Zombie 1.25-4×20 riflescope is Leupold’s entry in the counter-zombie market. The patented Zombie Dot green reticle is illuminated with a dot in the center giving you the choice of eight intensity sttings on a single button. The Zoom is exceptionally smooth and positive in operation. Powered by a CR2032 battery the scope also features a fiber-optic light pipe. Should you leave the illumination on, a motion sensor will turn the scope’s illumination off after five minutes, but will switch it back on if there is any movement. If you turn the scope off and turn it back on, it will remember your last setting and save you resetting it.

The 30mm tubed VX-R is totally fogproof and shockproof and features 2nd Generation Argon/Krypton Waterproofing. The scope uses 1/10 mil adjustments. The Bullet Drop Comensating turret is matched to Hornady Zombie Max .223 Rem and .308 Win ammunition help speed long range engagements.
This scope’s markings and green reticle color are essentially a marketing ploy, but that doesn’t detract from its being an excellent telescopic sight in its own right.
