Bushnell TRS25 Red Dot Sight
Resembling the Aimpoint T-1 and H-1 red dot sights, the new Bushnell TRS25 Red Dot Sight provides many of the former’s qualities at a fraction of the price. The TRS25 provides fast and accurate sighting in a small, rugged package that is fogproof, waterproof and shockproof. Just like the Aimpoint, the Bushnell features an ultra strong aluminum body with integral Weaver/Picatinny mount and a large, easily grasped adjuster knob to set brightness.There are eleven setting to cope with a wide variety of brightness conditions.
Bushnell’s patented Amber-Bright™ multi-coated optics provide a crystal clear sight picture. Eye relief is unlimited making fore and aft head position irrelevant. This sight is equally at home on a rifle, shotgun or handgun. The TRS25 is essentially parallax free beyond 25 meters making it hold insensitive.
The downside of this sight is battery life of “only” 3,000 hours vs 50,000 for the Aimpoint from its lithium battery. For most uses this is irrelevant unless you happen to leave the unit switched on when you return it to your gunsafe.
