LT660 Aimpoint Micro Riser Mount
The Aimpoint LRP Quick Release Conversion Kit, machined from steel, converts the standard mount that comes with the Micro T-1 or H-1 into a quick release unit. This enables you to remove and remount the Aimpoint Micro in seconds, returning to zero.
The Aimpoint LT660 Micro Mount is manufactured for them in Texas by LaRue Tactical. Machined from aircraft grade aluminum, the LT660 puts the Aimpoint Micro onto any flat-top AR series rifle at the right height for rapid head-up target acquisition and engagement. The height enables the rifle’s factory iron sights to be co-witnessed in the bottom 1/3 of the Aimpoint Micro’s vield of view. The lever mechanism locks solidly and features a machined recoil lug and side rail clamp. It can be mounted and dismounted from the weapon in seconds, again with repeat zero. This mount puts the Aimpoint Micro at the right height for use with the Aimpoint 3X Magnifier on the Aimpoint TwistMount. The LT660 Micro Mount takes up 2-1/8″ (5.4cm) of rail space.
The Aimpoint Dovetail Mount takes the place of the base supplied as standard with the Aimpoint Micro sight and fits any gun with a nominal 3/8 inch or 11mm dovetail such as most rimfires. It too is machined from aircraft grade aluminum.
Daniel Defense Micro Mount
The Daniel Defense Micro Mount offers an affordable but immensely strong American manufactured alternative for those who do not want quick release. This mount is snag free, reversible and very light at a mere 1.7 ounces. The Daniel Defense Micro Mount mount will put an Aimpoint Micro H-1, R-1 or T-1 red dot sight at the right height to co-witness iron sights in the bottom third of the Micro’s sighting window. Alternatively a tunnel allows other, low profile iron sights to be used. The Daniel Defense Micro Mount is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet and given a mil-spec Type III hard coat for resistance to impact and abrasion. The Daniel Defense Micro Mount clamps to any Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail with two substantial slot head machine screws. These screw into stainless steel inserts to insure they will not come undone under heavy recoil and vibration.
